Dear Beloved in the Lord Jesus Christ, September, 2004 Indeed, the Lord is good! And how great is His compassion for us! Ps. 116:5 "Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; Yes, our God is compassionate." The purpose of this letter is to introduce you anew to Walterick Publishers and to briefly update you on the progress and activities of this long-time publisher. Three years ago several men in the Kansas City area felt a great burden for Walterick. They met to pray together for the important contribution this publisher provided in the equipping of the saints with doctrinally sound publications. Since that time, these men have been in the process of assisting Walterick in streamlining operations. A new vision for the company has been developed and with that has come a new mission statement and goals. In this mission statement, the focus has been set on the Gospel, the edification and equipping of the saints, and on the New Testament principles of gathering. They have, of course, continued in its previously sound doctrine. The Lord graciously directed these steps and has continued to bless these efforts. In November 2003, the transition from the original corporation to a new not-for-profit entity began. This was successfully recognized by the government on January 1, 2004. However, the formal granting of tax exempt status is a long process and is pending as of today's date. The business of the company is now being operated under the name, WALTERICK PUBLISHING MINISTRIES, INC. Walterick Publishing Ministries, Inc. covets your prayers as we now move forward in the provision of the commentaries, books, and other literature which Walterick has traditionally produced. In addition, we will continue the effort to see new works published as the Lord leads and provides.
